Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role for a Pharmacist (hiring for every other Saturday), based in Toronto, ON. The Pharmacist will be responsible for checking compounded non-sterile medications, dispensing prescriptions, and providing medication counseling to patients. Additional responsibilities include ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, managing inventory, and collaborating with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes. As a part of our dedicated team, the Pharmacist will play a key role in enhancing patient care and supporting their health journey.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in non-sterile compounding and prescription dispensing
- Proficiency with Kroll
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy regulations, drug interactions, and compliance standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide patient counseling and collaborate with healthcare professionals
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage inventory effectively
- Customer service skills and a patient-focused approach
- Licensed to practice as a Pharmacist in the province of Ontario
- Experience or interest in natural health products and alternative therapies is an asset
